MINING CRITICAL
METALS

Currently developing a leading portfolio of resource assets in Southern Africa

About First Africa Metals

We are a private UK company dedicated to developing mining projects in highly prospective regions of Africa.

Our current pursuits focus on extracting Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, Niobium, Lithium from the Choma Belt in Southern Zambia.

The Choma Belt hosts fertile LCT pegmatite intrusions that penetrate high-grade metamorphic metasediments along its peripheries.

Tin has been produced from this prolific terrain since the 1930s.

Our Commodities

Li | Lithium

Extensively used in battery production, with global demand expected increase X5 by 2030.

Sn | Tin

Essential in semiconductor production, with global demand forecast to drive the market to 10B$ by 2032.

Nb | Niobium

Used across modern technologies: MRI, jet engines, oil and gas pipelines etc. Global market is forecast to range between 3B$ – 4.8B$ by 2032.

Tn | Tantalum

Used in capacitors & chips, aerospace alloys, chemical equipment, medical implants and other specialty products. Global demand consistently trending upwards.

Our Projects

The Misika Tenement is the portfolio’s southernmost mining asset and covers an area of 977.67Ha.

Misika came to fruition through a joint venture with local Chief Simwatachela of Mapatizya, granting First Africa Metals access to highly prospective ground in the Mapatizya area.

Misika hosts significant LCT pegmatites, rich in lithium-bearing minerals such as lepidolite, pollucite, and montebrasite.

First Africa Metals currently holds a 85% equity interest in the Misika Project, with potential and intention to increase this stake.

The Konayuma Tenement lies 33km north east to Misika and covers an area of 1,129Ha.

Historically worked for tin by artisanal miners, the area today features open pits that target several pegmatite zones.

These northeast-trending zones hold strong potential for further prospective exploration and development.

The Tonga Tenement covers 1,362Ha and lies south of the historic Siankope tin workings, active since the 1930s.

The area hosts significant pegmatitic granites and gneiss prospective for Lithium and Tin, with recent sampling returning grades of up to 1.54% SnO₂.

The Rock Valley Tenement lies 60km southeast of the town of Choma and covers an area of 6,418Ha.

First Africa Metals acquired the project for its strong potential in Tin, Lithium, Tantalum and Niobium.

The Eastern portion of the tenement hosts artisanal mining with pegmatitic granites and metamorphic gneiss prevalent across the area.

Structural trends that supported a series of historic Tin and Niobium mines extend into Rock Valley, making it highly prospective for new discoveries.
